Possible Litter 2011
Possible sires are:

Sacaházi Báró (black male), he is a professional shepherd's dog.  He has only one puppy that surely carries on his line and has pups with proven quality.  One other puppy of his has been bred, but those puppies are not sure to be bred further, nor has the quality of that pups breeding been proven. Báró will turn 13 in January of 2011. He does not have an official hip check, but his ability to still go out with the flocks today, is testament enough for us of his possible hip health.  He has passed the breeding exam and the herding instinct test.  His temperament/behavior is the best in the breed.  His working ability is the best in the breed as well.
While we are breaking our number one rule to only breed with hip checked dogs, we feel that in light of the epilepsy concern and the possibility for exemplary genes to be lost from quality males such as Báró, these issues override the hip health concern and we all need to be more open minded as times are changing in the Mudi world, because of this we make an exception for this male.  His connections to epilepsy are minimal, which is more than can be said for many of today's Mudi males that are available for breeding.
Puppies would be black or brown, with a very small chance for white/yellow.  All would have long tails.  COI: 9.4%

Gondûzô-Alkonyat Virsli Császár "Varázs" (black merle male), he is the best obedience Mudi alive today.  He has many qualities to offer a litter of pups, superb temperament/behavior, excellent orthopedic scores (all mentes-free),  herding instinct tested on sheep and gray cows and top of the line competitive sport ability.
Puppies would be black and black merle, possibly brown and gray may be born as well (also possibly merled). All would have long tails. COI: 7.5%

If you are interested in a puppy from one of the above possible matings for sport, work or as an active companion, please contact us. We will not breed a litter without sufficient interest in the puppies as this is irresponsible.

We have answered most of the questions for our kennel on this form, some questions need to be asked directly to us about individual dogs and litters as space on the form is limited and current information changes.
We provide this form as an aide to you in choosing the kennel that best meets your concerns for which kennel to select a puppy from.  While we understand that not everyone will choose a puppy from us, we hope that this form will point out the breeders that are trying to do a good job in breeding and make it easier for you to tell them apart.  In other words, please support breeders with your purchase that are trying to make better Mudi puppies, not just doing thoughtless breeding.
Thank you!

Our Planned Litters
If you are interested in a puppy from our kennel, please contact us for information and reservation details. Please acquaint yourself with our breeding ideology, why you should choose our kennel for your puppy and the FAQ's about our kennel, which can be found under the Meet Us menu. Please also visit the pages that show how we raise our puppies found under the Puppies menu.
Reserving a puppy is highly recommended as we prioritize placement with those homes that have previously reserved a puppy. Please read our deposit policy below!
We think it is very important to place puppies into homes that meet the prospective owners requirements. We also think it is important to only place puppies into homes or families whose chosen lifestyle and purpose for the dog matches the suitability of the breed.
We carefully evaluate each puppy's temperament and structure as it grows to make placement determination. In matching puppies with owners, we try to be as expedient as possible in the decision making process, but we do not make final decisions until 7-8 weeks of age when the individual temperament, appearance and structure can be clearly evaluated for each puppy.
Please understand that careful breeding of dogs on the limited basis that we do it, is not a build-to-order process with regard to color, pattern, sex, temperament and structure of a puppy. We usually do not allow buyers to choose which puppy they would like if there is another similar puppy born in the litter to what they reserved, as this could result in a poor match between dog and purpose. It is our goal for the dog to have a happy, lifetime home with equally happy owners, therefore we require owners to trust us to place the puppies and owners together that match best.
While buyers may choose to limit what sex and color puppy they would like to have, we do not encourage this. Buyers who do so must be aware that this will limit their chances of getting a puppy from a specific litter, since a puppy of that color and sex may not be born or be the best match for them. Please keep in mind that the differences between a male and a female Mudi are minimal, both make excellent companions and sports competitors.
Thank you for your interest in our puppies!
