Black merle female, natural short (1/2 like her fathers) tail, small stripe on her head, small chest patch and little white toe tips. She has a very interesting black marking on the back of her head. Her fur gets lighter as the stains from her birth wear off, while her nose darkens gradually as well. She was the smallest puppy we ever had that survived and although she had a very hard start in life, she was an incredible fighter and grew stronger very nicely on her own. She deserves an owner that knows how special and lucky she is to be here.

Black merle female, long tail, chest patch and toe tips. She has dark head markings which make her look like a black headed sheep along with her very lightly marked body. This is a wonderful pattern on luxuriously plush, wavy fur. She has a very happy owner that waits for her.

Black male, with only a few hairs chest patch and shiny, thick, wavy fur. He has a natural short (3/4) tail. He had a bit of a tough start, but he must have known he had an owner waiting for him and he pulled himself through and shows no signs of his rough start now.

Black merle male, long tail, he was very uniquely marked, a puppy like him was never seen in any other litter of ours. We were devastated that he did not live, he was a very special puppy already in our hearts.
While some people may find placing his pictures here morbidly offensive, we think that to ignore he existed would be more so. We are not ashamed of his not-so-typical markings, we were just as proud of him as any puppy we ever helped to create. He was stunningly beautiful, with his markings clearly showing the tweed pattern gene that is present in almost every merle Mudi and we will miss him from our lives forever.

Black merle male, long tail, he has a chest patch and white stripe on the merled half of his split marked belly, white toe tips and tail tip. He has lovely wavy fur and a nicely distributed merle pattern, with a very lightly marked face, his nose darkens gradually to black.
He has an owner that has waited for him to arrive for a long time!

Bajnok is a black merle with a natural short tail; Majdnem Normál (FDB) hip score; Herding Instinct Test passed; Character Test score Fair; Breeding Exam Passed; he carries merle, black, white and yellow; COI 8.6%
6 puppies were born, 3 black merle females (one with a short tail) and 3 males (2 black merles, 1 black with a short tail). Labor started normally and the first 3 pups were delivered easily. Then labor stopped and we decided to do a c-section to save the last pups. The last 3 were alive and well on the ultrasound check, but to our great sadness, one puppy did not make it out alive, he breathed in too much fluid and they could not clear his lungs, even though his little heart was still beating, he died. This Fecske x Bajnok litter was very different than the other 2 litters we previously had from these same parents. There were many merles and only one black, fewer short tails (the other litters had more shorts than longs), and the merles had lots of markings that the other 2 litters' merle pups did not have. Regardless of these differences, we are very grateful to have these 5 pups here which grow fabulously well, in spite of their rough start in life. Dew claws were removed as usual.
